Powerful Nj Democrat Removed For Inappropriate Behavior

Norcross Ejected From Eagles Game

Powerful N.J. Democrat Removed for 'Inappropriate Behavior'

Norcross Says He Was Forcibly Removed

New Jersey Democratic power broker George Norcross III says he was forcibly removed from the Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday after he was asked to remove a large sign that was blocking the view of other fans.

Norcross, an insurance executive and former co-owner of The Inquirer, said in a statement that he was "shocked and surprised" by his ejection.

"I was simply enjoying the game with my family and friends when I was approached by security and told that I had to remove my sign," Norcross said. "I explained that the sign was not blocking anyone's view, but they insisted that I remove it."

Norcross said that he refused to remove the sign, and that security then forcibly removed him from the stadium.

"I am deeply disappointed by the way I was treated," Norcross said. "I have been a lifelong Eagles fan, and I have never been treated with such disrespect."

The Eagles have not commented on the incident.
